How do those 555 drag tires handle on the street? I know they are track tires, but i hear alot of people use them for street driving...plus they look better than the regular 555's haha

They actually ride and drive just like the regular 555's, they are a tad stiffer buthavethe smoothiest ride compared to the others out there (M/T, BFG'S). How ever for me they where a waste of money because they didn't hook as hard as my micky's but they didlasted twice as long, plus with them being twice as stiff as others they where prone to excessive wheel hopIf you like to hook on the track get the M/T dr's, but if you want a tire that hooks semi decent and you drive alot on the street with them get the Nitto'sThey are also just as good as the normal 555's in the rain as well.

just to let ya kno bro the nittos have i believe like a 15,000 mile tread life so driving on the street all of the time they will wear pretty quickly

Thats what they say but my non dr's lasted the same as my dr's, when you go with a performance tire like this they aren't meant to last, you can't buy a drag tire for the long haul. I had them on my fox body and I drove on them all summer and was at the track every other weekend racing the heads up series that my local track puts on If you drive around town alot they'll last but if take them on long road trips they will fry. They will be fine to cruise around with, just dont take any family road trips with them[&:]
