Default oh boy...

So my stang isn't insured yet, but, its been up and down my steeepppp driveway MANY times. So I let out the clutch at a reasonable rpm, and gunned it. First thing I noticed was throttle lag, and didnt throw me into the seat very well..

Well I was pulling 2 thousand rpm, so the engine wasnt in its power curve so thats reasonable i guess.

The throttle lag. I heard the brenspeed CAI and tune takes care of that, but I am not ready to put premium in her quite yet.

So this is a dumb question, is there any "remedy" found for this lag?

Yep...a tune from B amachips or Brenspeed or some other reputable tuner. Why wont you put premium gas in it? They can do any octane tune also.

seems risky to have a car not insured, its better your not outon the road, but what about a house fire or someone breaking in and taking, LONG shot i know, but still.

Lol the car hasnt been on the road
Im 16, and I told my parents I dont want to insure the car until my national race in daytona in early april.

And even if the higher octane will increase power, and maybe gas mileage, it probably costs more in the long haul..

16 and with no insurance haha. Your parents seem to want to give out their house, properties, business to who ever you crash you first.

Is your car paid for? If not whoever gave you the loan (bank, finance company) can void your loan or charge you as high premuim to have there insurance. Dealerships arent supposed to let you drive off the lot with out insurance.
Also some states will suspended your license if you dont have insurance....

NOt that it matters ,just thought that was odd. Nice stripes by the way

Ok i guess you dont understand me.

The car is mine; paid for and in my driveway.

The dealership delivered the car with dealer plates to my house. THE CAR HAS NOT TOUCHED THE ROAD!!!!!!![:-][:-][:-]

Oh and as for the car; not to sound like a jackass, but all the older guys I race with agree that if I can race side-by-side around a sprint track at 100 mph, that a stang is no big deal.

And again, not to sound like a jackss, but

Who are the people who "Bury" their speedometer on a public road??????????????????[:@][:@][:@][:@]

I would NEVER CONSIDER going above the speedlimit on a public road, speed limits are made to keep YOU safe.

And if you think that I am kidding-I'm not.

I know that If it hurts landing upside-down on asphalt at 55 MPH with no rollcage or seatbelts that hitting innocent people/property at 140 MPH is

****ING STUPIDDDDDDDDDD

some of you need to grow up.

and I am the one who is 16
