Have not received mine yet...but I did another post on there are some extra incidentals that we dont factor in.....overall, if you really wanted to you can get the saleen and have it installed and be done with it...dont change their tune (Which sux, so I do not reccomend this) or you can modify per everyones opinion and the opinions of the experts...here is what I did....I am not going to post the price of my saleen, but it is safe to say I paid allot less than what you put in your post....
SALEEN VI SC $(put in amount here)
install (Mine) is $600
1 elect> Cobalt fuel pressure gauge $178
1 mech Boost vacuum gauge $68
1 smaller pulley(JDM)$163
1 vacuum hose reroute (JDM) $20
2 Saleen Tunes (1 aggressive, 1 DD) $180 (JDM)
90MM lightning MAF and 39lb injectors $329 (Buyfordracing.com)
1 speed of sound dual gauge pod $135 (This thing is freaking amazing....dead on to the interior)
harness for 90mm MAF $50 (blueovalchips.com
adaptor bracket for 90mm MAF to cone filter to accommodate my C+L $35 (Blueovalchips.com
probably some misc charges for about another $100 for high temp silicone hoses and clamps as well as initial dyno run to verify AF Ratio etc

$1858 additional to just the charger.....but I will tell you that it will only be a little over $200 over MSRP(for just the basic unit) because of the great deal I got on the Saleen SC from UGM.
overall I will have a car that will give me around 400++ to the rear wheels at 6lbs boost...I like the saleen and think the deal you can get now is pretty freaking incredible...just last november the same basic kit would have cost me $5200 (Unless group buy was on) and over 1200 to install....just the basic kit without the other items...so this is a great deal...and for me it needs to be because as my beautiful and patient wife of 17 years reminds me daily since i plunked down this change....get it all now....because this is it for the car...LOL ;)...
I have to say on a side note, she is definitely a saint....this was my anniversary and birthday gift that she gave me this week...so thats pretty understanding....beats a tie anyday....

It's like cheftjpeck said. In all realty the saleen is good to go right out of the box. It should get you to upper 300s hp to the wheels. If you want more then you add a few more things. I have my kit and im waiting on some extras so i can ensure im over the 400 mark at the wheels.

CustomTUNE
JDM cold air kit
90mm mass air meter and harness
39# injectors
3.6 boost pulley ( 8 psi)
Belt Gates K061080
Saleen Extreme intake boot
Vaccum line upgrade kit
Ford Racing plugs (1 step colder than stock)
