i was reading the "why r chevys always talking crap" and that stirred up a question in my mind...wont we be able to at least keep up with the Z28 Camaro...it will weigh roughly the same as the 05-06 GTO and have the same 400 horse LS2...the 05-06 GTO performs a 4.6 second 0-60...i know d@mn well a good driver can hit 5 flat in a stock GT...anyway, i was looking at pics of the camaro and thought to myself, those are some big *** rims...sure engough, 21's in front and 22's in back...that HAS to slow it down some...so to run good times with those huge wheels wont they need some low low gears...what kind of gas mileage r they looking at now...my point is, correct me if im wrong, the camaros wont be that much better than the GT's, if not at all...and the challengers will be priced the same as a GT500...i know the 500 horse GT500 weighs a lot less than the 425 horse SRT-8 challenger

how many ls1 have u raced that gets ugly quick stock to stock the new camaro with the ls2 not a chance. of course im going stock to stock.

With all the options available for the maro, you all will want to store up your honeyhole for a s/c.. my buddy is waiting for aug so he can watch them build those beasts....You can get one with a LS-7

yup... i hope i have my supercharger by the time the camaro will come out, sure thing the camaro will be rarely sold here in Tampico where i live, but when i find one i don't wanna be the guy whos' looking at someone elses tail[:@]

The LS1 Camaro will be all you can handle stock for stock with a few people pulling wins due to their exceptional driving and the Camaro driver not being exceptional & few who will hang door to door but get edged out probally.The LS2 will eat a stock GT up!This Camaro from what I gather is nothing like the GTOs.They will hook alot easier then the Goats.Me,,,Im waiting for them to hit the streets!Even with my NO2 I think I will beat a standard bolt on one.But time will tell if my 500-550 Crank HP will be enough...Yes,time will tell.
