you could settle for an 06 model and finish out the exhaust and intake with tuning for it, or supercharge a few weeks after you buy it, but make sure you dont jump into too much or you wont enjoy building up the hp as you go with the car

woo-hooo!!!!!

Another ricer conversion!!!!!!!

Hell Yes. I would go for the 07. I have an 05 and would want nothing other than my s197

so do what you think you want. there is nothing wrong with an 07, and the 08 may have some querks in the beginning so I would go 07

**** on waiting... you could die tommorrow completely unfulfilled. There is always something "better" down the road. Look at what is available and go for it!

Anything that is offroad-only is considered illegal on the streets. However, I chose to go with an o/r h-pipe by PYPES PERFORMANCE... I live in California and I havent got pulled over yet

welcome to the V8 world. I'm glad to see we have brought you over from the dark side, young padawan. Anyway...I just bought my 06 GT, if you want something new, I'd buy an 07 when the 08s come out unless you really want an 08...But there's nothing wrong with a used 05/06 IMO. But ya, CAI/Tune are great mods to start with. First, I'd get used to the car in its stock form. Wait a lil while, then upgrade so you dont get bored as someone stated above^^^. And I've heard great things about the SLPs, only reason I wont get them is I do too much early morning/late night driving and dont want to get shot by one of the neighbors at my house or the girlfriends when I wake them up. One of my girlfriends neighbors was stabbed the other day...creepy neighbors there. Anything o/r is illegal in Cali because you wont pass emissions, down here in FL, no emissions testing. WOOT! But im keeping the cars for now anyway.lol.
