Default delete plate tuning Need help

I just order those cmcv delete plates or whatever you call it. I have a sct2 tuner. I thought someone stated that there is a option in the tuner for delete plates? If so do I just go in there and say yes or no? and my car will be ok? or does it have to be really tuned?

also does anyone have a how to on install of these things? Sorry the search function is acting up....

There is not an option in the tuner.

You have to talk to a custom tune shop and have them write you a special tune with the needed adjustments.

I believe you mean the IMRC(Intake Manifold Runner Control)plates? Yes you needthe car tuned after installing them. If you are close to the NJ area there is a great guy and shop. Kevin @ Wicked Motorsports.PM me if you need more info.

Yes doug will do a tune but he will charge you also unless you bought the SCT from him. Where did you buy the tuner from...they should also be able to do it. If you are running the "canned" SCT tunes then you should go ahead and have either Brent or Doug write you custom tunes anyway. You will prbably double you gains if you do that as the "canned" tunes are crap compared to the custom tunes.

Yeah that is one advantage will Doug, he will not usually charge for changing a tune for a new part. Sorry bud.
