Burn Out Question
I am not sure if this happens to anyone else on this forum. Answer this question if you can.
I was driving and it was raining out. I drove past a parking lot of an old church building. I decided to stop by. The parking lot was very big. It was perfect for some burnout and donut fun. I turned off my tracion control and started to get into a donut. However, two problems occured at different times. The first problem was that my gas gauge dropped all the way from almost half a tank to zero. The screen in the dash between the speedometer and RPM showed 0 gallons of gas left. I stopped the donut and let the car sit for a second. The gas gauge went back up to where it was before. Then, I got into the donut again and this time my trunk popped open. Has any of this occured to any of you? If not, can any explain...?

RE: Burn Out Question
All the gas gets shifted to one side and tricks your sensor for a minute, and either something in your trunk, box or speakers or etc, hits the release handle, or you push it by accident on your keychain. Somehting hitting the release handle is the most likely. Yeah.

RE: Burn Out Question
Yeah the gas thing used to happen to me all the time.I read it's because of sulfur or something clogging up the seding unit. As for the trunk, I have no idea. Maybe it was something moving around, or maybe it was God telling you to stop messing around!

Ok really though, what are the odds of hitting that blue button on the keyring while driving?

RE: Burn Out Question
Maybe the trunk was already open. A few time i haven't closed the lid tight enough to lock and will notice it later. It can sit pretty low and not be locked. Just a though.....i do like the accidentally pressing the key fob w/o realizing it though..[sm=alcoholic.gif]

RE: Burn Out Question
Well if you have the my color dash then it will tell you when the trunk is open.. and becuase we do not have a trunk release button in the car the trunk will still pop with the key on the car.. the sn95 stangs would not pop the trunk when you pressed teh key fob when the key was in the ignition.. you had to turn the car off to use the key fob
