Ticking noise from the engine and how to make them fix it

RE: Ticking noise from the engine and how to make them fix it
I've noticed a ticking with or around the fuel injectors that is louder as the engine warms up. It's almost like the sound of a faulty heat riser in my 65 289 Mustang. It quiets down when the car either sits or idles for a few minutes but it clicks at the same speed as the injectors. Don't know why the injectors would get noisier with heat. If it does, then this is the first FI car I've owned in the last 27 years that does this.

I've noticed the same ticking sound from my car every once in a while. I haven't found a way to replicate it though, so if you're having the same kind of thing, good luck!

The description is a little vague, but I have no clicks at all on my 07GT.
Besides the AC or the fan kicking in already pointed out before,I'd check the spark plug wires/coils to make sure they are probably plugged in, if one is loose and fires against the block it will make a click and affect your rpm momentarely
