ive also seen the dudes use it on a show on speed channel called 2 guy garage, why didnt they use sct either?

Why would you even consider it? The gains are crap compared to B ama or Brenspeed

I wasnt really considering it, im just tyring to come up on some knowledge about any and evertying i can....and why does it cost more thats my biggest questiong, is it bcuz of the name brand or wha??? is superchips well known or somehting?

Superchips is well know. They have been around for years. At the time I was looking to start modding my car I thought about ordering something from them. Then I found out about everything else. Why it is more I do not know for sure though.

Yep superchips is well known, and you are paying for the name, (hence more money). They use to/still do a lot of the units that on older cars could plug right into/onto the ecu (computer) and add some power.

I wouldn't use them over SCT though.
