I have noticed Al and others say that even if you have 700 hp your tires will spin way before that from a dig because if not your tranny would be shot to hell. Well im curious.. What kind of stress is on the tranny or any part of the driveline if you had the same 700 hp but you were on the highway in third gear at 3k rpms and floored it? would that rip the tranny apart or is there a lot less stress from that then there would be from a dig? sorry if these questions seem useless but it is something i have always wondered

Well,from a dig you got to move 3500lbs ,but rollin down the road that weight is in motion so there is less stress.

I would hope if you have 700 hp you would of upgraded the tranny and not be on stock

lol well ya i would hope so to, but was just curious of which was more stressful.

I know. I would think from a dig would be more stressful
