I posted awhile ago that one of my buddies want to race me and my 2006 Roush. He has a 1999 mustang gt. Since it was winter when we first talked about racing he had time to think and ask people what the turnout would be. Well he didnt like the responses he was getting from the nice people here at mustangforums haha. He has now added stage 1 cams, 4:10 gears, jlt cai, throttle body and a bunch of appearance mods. I'm guessing I dont have much of a chance now. Still will be fun to see what will happen when the time comes.

haha yea i can only hope the appearance mods weigh a ton. This summer I plan on buying a roush cai. Doesnt require a tune because it has a piece on the inside that restricts some of the air flow. Once I get some moremods i will take the piece out and get the tune.I'm eventually going to get gears and mayb a cam swap depending on the difference it made in my buddies car.

The appearance mods won't add any weight, the only thing I can think of that will add weight is the chin spoiler. All the rest is just smoked headlights, fog lights, tail light blackouts, shorty antenna, and rear MUSTANG decals. But he is getting a sound system, so his 12" L7 might weigh him down some. I think it'll be a great race, can't wait to see it.
