Default RE: making the car feel fast

[align=left]Funny all we all feel 'fast' differently. When I really jump on it from a dead stop I take a few seconds to get to WOT. Otherwise all 'ya do is spin tires! Not good, hard on tires (expensive), and draws the wrong kind of attention (even more expensive!) but once it's floored and gets to those higher RPM's (peak hp) that's when it gets scarry fast for me. But when you're just tooling around and floor it, it takes a bit to really get going. Some engines make a lot more torque at lower rpm's and therefore give the feeling of power, the 'push you back into your seat' kind of acceleration as soon as you mash the loud pedal. But then you don't have the big rush of power on the top end. I guess it's all about what you like best. : )
