Are Comp Cams Stage 3 really too much for a blower?
Brenspeed said that they are pretty mild and that they should of been called stage 1 on their website. Is it posible for these cams to go with a blower?

RE: Are Comp Cams Stage 3 really too much for a blower?
Stage 2's are designed for a blower.
Stage 3s have too much duration. That will result in a DOWNGRADE of power compared to Stock or Stage 2s.
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, why are you wanting both cams and a blower? A blower by itself can make more than enough HP to destroy the motor, on stock heads, stock cams....just change the boost level to get the power you want. There's no point in buying a $1000 set of cams when you can just get a $100 pulley instead.
The only reason I could see for needing new cams is if you were really pushing the limits of the system and you were trying to make 800+ HP...and at that level you'd obviously need a new engine, transmission, clutch, and rear axle and you're talking some megabucks to get it all done.
