I get about 20 mpg, a little city but mostly driving while keeping the RPMs around 1500. (50mph in 5th gear) I've noticed with all highway (65mph) I can get up to 24-27mpg. (According to readout, hasn't been proved at the pump because I've always mixed it up with some city driving somewhere inbetween.)

15 mph city. 16 to 17 highway. Sounds about right.

no way you get 20 mpg . Most people I've talked to avg around 15. The highest I've seen is 18. Anyone else????

19 city, 24-28 highway. You get poor city mileage if you have a lot of traffic and lights. Watch your mpg while you are idling. It drops a tenth every 20 seconds or so.

Never buy a Mustang if your worried about gas mileage. I don't want to know what MPG I am getting

I was getting 17-19 mpg when I was in the city with 4.10s. But most of my driving is hwy and I average about 22 mpg. Nice IMO but who cares about mpg in a mustang. Thats why I'm going to get a big ignorant redneck diesel with a big blacksmokintwin stack exhaustand still manage to get 25 mpg without a load. [8D]
