Default alternative bolt ons/mods

we've all been through the usual bolt ons a zillion times, CAI/tune, UDP's, exhaust, etc. what other bolt ons are there? simple things that can be swapped out or at least improved on as far as the engine goes? any ideas?
just out of curiousity and for discussion.

Hey Bro.I would say things on the car that need improvement that you can do would be,
1.)Replace your rear tires withsome D/R.This will help dramaticly!
2.)Cut some weight off the car.We all know the S197s are tad on the heavy side!If you can take 200lbs off you will see a differance.Find all your excess weight thats not needed & get rid of it!Take a look at my car & Ill show you some stuff!
3.)We also know our motors starve for air.You have a great CAI on your car but look into ways of getting more air to the CAI.

Hope this helps ya out Bro!

very good suggestion! as i research more and more about these cars, i see more and more ways to save weight. and not just deleting stuff, but by replacing parts with better, stronger, lights parts, for example, a tubular radiator support and stuff.

and definetly, one thing thats not discussed as much as it should be is the aluminum driveshaft.

yes, our motors definetly starve for air haha. thats why FI seems to be such an effective mod on our cars.

have u ever thought about stuff like a thermostat or like a better oil pan or stuff like that tho? i dunno i was on LS1tech and it got me curious, what other kinds of mods there must be other than the common bolt ons, you know?

Yeah I thought about doing a windage tray in the oil pan to replace the factory POS one.RPM Outlet claims a decent HP increase by doing it but I think the factory one should be replaced anyhow even if its a wash.
