+1 on the Denny's driveshaft. It is 23lbs. but it is a 3" shaft as compared to the 17 lbs. 4" aluminum. I am no expert on the subject of rotational mass, but "I think I heard" that the heavier 3" shaft has less rotational mass than the lighter 4" shaft.

3", 3.5", 4", steel, aluminum, they're all going to give you about the same performance. Just need to make sure you purchase from a reputable builder and it has the type of warranty you can live with.

A warranty isnt going to help you when you install a 4 inch aluminum shaft on a lowered stang and rub the sh*t out of your floorpan over bumps possibly unbalancing the shaft or worse, having it come apart...
