Got the 3" Magnaflow Magnapack. Took less than an hour (50min) to yank the old one off and put new one on. Has great sound to it. Of coure, if you like Loud Mouth or anything else like that, you'll be disappointed. There really isnt any droning unless you get less than 2000rpm and put a bit of a load on it, like going up a good inclineon thehighway. Otherwise it's just a good, clean, deep sound. Definetly louder than stock, but far from obnoxious. Had a road trip from Kansas City to Witchita Sunday. This is an exhaust anyone could live with unless they think the stock set-up is noisy.
Just cant seem to track down their X-pipe. But since its the same 2.5" diameter as stock H-pipe, I think I will leave it alone. Cant see that it would make any real difference in power. BBK Headers are next.

Note: The mufflers were adjusted after the picture so they lined up with the rear cover perfectly.

Nice, I was just looking at that set up. How much did you pay for the cat-back if you don't mind me asking.

Magnaflow claims something like 19hp with this set up. Did you notice anything?

damnit i just bought that same set up but i'm having a hell of a tough time installing it cuz i cant get the stock over-axle pipes out. 1st attempt failed, so next weekend i'm gonna try with my friend's jack stands, and his lift if that doesnt work. SCCAGT did you have any trouble wiggling out those stock over axle pipes?

I put a magnaflow catback on my car. I definetly noticed better throttle response. I wouldnt say a 19 hp gain just with the cat back though. With the combination of some aftermarket headers and mid piping, you should be good. I plan on putting loudmouth's in a month here because I just want people to hear me coming...

I'll have a report tomorrow. I tried to install catback Magnapacks yesterday but finally gave up. I couldn't get the car high enough to get the pipe out. Taking it to a shop tomorrow to put it on a lift. We have a setup at work to do remote microphones on a DVCAM. I'm going to try taping the mic on the rear bumper then throw the camera on a tripod. If that works out I'll throw up a vid file later this week

Ive got the catted x-pipe and the same cat-back system and i love it! no drone and just the right amount of sound. theres a vid clip on you tube if you wanna hear it with the x-pipe. Ive got a HP gain of something like 16hp
