Dynatech Supermaxx anyone>?
Anyone have the Dynatech Supermaxx exhaust kit on their car? (longtube headers with catted x pipe) If so, how do you like em? They loud enough? Did you notice a lot of throttle response and increase in hp? How long did the installation take? (3 hours like stated on many sites?)

I have the dynatech setup and I love it. Nice aggresive sound with my borla stingers. Great throttle response. Took right at 4.5 hours and that was with car put up on a lift, but fit perfectly.

I got em, the LT's -X-high Flow cats..Flowmaster AT... I only got a chance to hear the setup for like 15 seconds though while I was at the shop picking up the old pipes... It's still there getting abuncha other stuff done, so I will never be able to comment specifically on them power wise...
Sounded pretty mean, with that set up.. Hopefully I'll get the car back tomorrow or the next day...I'll let ya know more then if ya like....

If your askin me if it's loud, I really can't tell ya for sure...we fired it up inside the garage...so in there it was loud...but being in the garage amplified the sound a bit.... quite a bit.. .so out on the road i'm sure it won't be as loud.... Once I get her back, I'll do some vids, and maybe a high quality audio sample... It was defiantley way louder than stock, and quite a different tone... the X makes it a bit more raspy sounding, kinda gives it that gurgle/popin sound upon deceleration...
It sounded powerful....

I have them as well. Fantastic performance. My car dynoed at +19.5 RWHP before and after the install.
The first time I did the installation it took me 5 hours of work, with 1 hour of help. This was using hand tools, a jack, and 4 jackstands. (No lift, no air tools). Since then I have done it in a hair over 4 hours--again, no lift.
3 hours is really pushing it IMHO. Maybe with a really good mechanic,a lift & all that, but I would say that 4-5 hours is what you should expect from a pro, perhaps longer if you do it yourself.

Follow-up Question:
For those who have them, did you have to modify your tune (as some have implied is necessary)? Most of you seem to have already installed a CAI/tune package, but I'm wondering if these can go on stock. Also, if I get a CAI/tune, will I have to get it reprogrammed after the headers?
Thanks!
