There are no minimal balance requirements, I can transfer money to orfrom my checking account whenever I want to. I've had it about a year, and it's treated me well. It's going to depend alot on your financial situation. You should think about paying any pressing debts first.

How about a second car? A cheap used, low mileage, four cylinder something.

It's nice to have a beater you can drive in the snow, park in crappy neighborhoods, has four doors, and gets good gas mileage. It's also useful when you're in the middle of modifying the Mustang and can't drive it. It takes the pressure off installing anything when you have all the time in the world to do it.

it's yours do what you want to, if it were me I'd blow it all, but that's why I married my wife, cause she wouldn't let me, and I haven't had her be wrong about money yet...........however I'm not sure I've ever been right about it

Buy an apartment building, have a management company run it for you, it'll pay for itself and give you some income every month(at least $1,000 clear extra per month). Make improvements a few months at a time, before you know it, you'll have A) a killer Mustang B) great equity rich property C) you'll never lose on property if you buy wisely D) ability to raise the rents(with more people unable to afford to buy homes, there are more renters---hint-hint, can you say $$$ CA-CHING?) JMHO.
