Default No muffler clip

Hey guys. I've been reading this forums for a long time now. I used to own a 05 v6, after a year I traded it in for gt just recently. I'm extremly picky about exhaust and it took me forever to decide on one for my v6. I had a basic xpipe with american thunders. Everyone told me it was the best sounding v6 they had ever heard, and I loved it. But anyway, I've been trying to decide on an exhaust for my new gt, and I had some time one day so I took off the mufflers to get an idea of what slp lm would sound like.

heres's a kinda long clip of it http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2019761055

I can say I think I've made my decision . The cam just can't handle the loudness, but I think the clip does an ok job for those who are wondering what it sounds like. I can't wait to get some more mods in my new v8, I just love this car.

that doesn't sound bad at all. i kinda liked it.

how loud would you say it is on a scale of 1-10.

10 being ridiculous

I would give it an 8.
My friend used to have an 86 or something firebird, with the exhaust cut at the headers, and it sounded horrible, but was definatly a 10. It literally hurt your ears to drive next to it. I also experimented with no mufflers on my v6 for while. That was suprisingly loud as well, probably a 6. people tell me they can hear my car coming from blocks away.

Honestly, I've noticed that its way easier to have accidental tire squeaks just by starting off. Otherwise definatly no loss in power.

this is right after it. where the muffler is supposed to disconnect. nothing was cut, just took the three screws out and pulled the mufflers off basically.
