Hi all, brand new member here. I'm a former owner of a white 96 GT coupe and black 97 Cobra, both of which were terrific cars. I found this thread doing a web search for "2007 mustang gt convertible without spoiler" since I've got the bug to own one of the new/retro convertibles, but without a freakin' spoiler. This popped up, and here I am.

Seems that every single new 07 'Stang in Houston has a spoiler at the dealership. I mean every single one. I completely agree with the views expressed about the delete being so much cleaner looking. I bought my 96 GT without (fairly rare), but there wasn't a Cobra in existence that I ever found that didn't have one if you bought direct from dealer inventory. I will not make the same mistake this time - looks like a special order Premium Convertible GT is in my future. I won't mind waiting a few months considering how unique and mature the car looks without that crappy plastic wing. Thanks for all the photos!

Thank God I chose the spoiler delete option!! I personally couldn't stand the look of the stock spoiler of the new stangs. The salesman had no idea why I kept insisting and reminding him that I DO NOT WANT a spoiler, lol! If I ever get a spoiler in the future, it would most likely be the ductail kind.

Hey guys,

Has anyone given any thought to SWAPPING a GT trunk lid with spoiler to a V6 guy without?

No paint, no prep, no filling holes and the spoiler doesn't go to waste.

Just swap out your emblems and you're good to go.

Just an idea.
