Default Motor acting up?????

I took my '06 in for problems associated with a TSB on the Fuel Pump and air bubbles, that was fixed.
It was also having problems at about 60-80 MPH with some sort of Popping/Missing/Misfire or something on heavy acceleration. At normal driving speeds it is fine.
The Dealership called this morning and said they can't find anything wrong...WTF?????
Anyone else having this problem please chime in with help.
This started at about 13,000 miles.

I believe now there were 2 seperate problems or one caused the other.
I just got a call from the Dealership.....he told me because I have Flowmasters,Ford Racing X-pipeand a K&N air filter that they don't have to fix my car!!!!!
I quickly let him know that I am well informed on my rights....he actually told me if my car will reach the speed limit, they don't have to fix it! UNBELIEVABLE! I told him the speed limit is 70mph and the engine cuts out from 60-80.
A co workers '06 had the same problem at 12K, they told him they put new plugs in to fix???

I had the same problem and after I gapped my spark plugs it was fine. Mine is supercharged, so I don't know if it will help you or not. Worth a try. They say after alot of driving the gaps become bigger and they have to be regapped.

What plugs do you use?Does yours use the Motorcraft plugs(called Zero Gap)??? That would explain my friends being fixed by plug replacement.

I use Autolite HT. They are one heat range cooler for forced induction cars. I have to gap mine down to .035 whereas a stock vehicle is gapped to either .040 or .045

When I took mine in for the same "missing" problem they said the same thing. They're computer said nothing was wrong. That's when my brother said lets pull the plugs out and look at them. Been fine ever since. Could also be a loose plug. I had that too. It was blowing by under heavy acceleration. Your Welcome. Hope it's an easy fix like mine was.

I picked up the car at 5:30 today...it is running great!.
After coolong of for 2 hours I called my 'good' service Rep and had a good discussion. I told him about the suggestions here, so I suppose they took some of the advice.
They didn't have the paper work ready, so they told me to call back tommorrow.
This has not ended for me...I fully well intend on talking with the GM at the Dealer, I already talked to my friend in Finance and she told me who to talk with( she was floored at the way I was treated).
If i don't get any results, I'll go to the Ford Rep till I'm satisfied!
When I get the paperwork I'll post exactlu what they did.
