If you are racing someone, leave on the last yellow. Trust me. By the time your car moves enough to break the other beam it will be green. Just try it.

Well your times (60', 1/8 mile & ET) looks like a stock auto GT to me and you are sopposed to be modded. even with 2.1 60' your car should have been around 8.8-8.9 1/8 mile and 13.5-7 ish ET. Something is up and i have no clue what it is. maybe your tune is not right???

When bracket racing, your reaction time counts towards your overall ET. When drag racing at a street night or T&T, the timer doesn't start until you launch the car out of the staging lights. So you can sit there for 20 seconds after the green light bulb is lit, but your ET will not be affected til the car moves.

Although you had a decent 60' time for stock, did you spin the wheels alot? You want as little wheelspin as possible. Perhaps if you get more practice at the track, you'll avoid what I did to my P-Zeros the first time I took my 4.0L V6 vert to the track:

Im learning alot in these forum; i didnt know about time not going intill you leave on non-braket racing; thanks.

and doodad; i love the cobras form 03/04 the day they came out. Even after the new gt500 came out;i still like the older cobra just as much. Something about it; not sure. You say the irs make a nice ride but the s197 still better; is it the seats on are cars?
