Default Detroit TT

Im looking at a Detroit TT. Which one do I need? 07 GT manual, gracias.

When you install it you will need to shave about .05 off the spacer that goes between the axles to get it to fit.

is it .05 or .005? Fifty thousanths seems like a lot.

Do these truetracs make any noise or are they silent? Just had mine installed and there is a tiny bit of gear noise...just wondering if the gears are off a hair of if the differential make a little noise on its own.

Yours is the first casethat I have heard of having noise problems from a trutrac. Most people I've talked to say they are quiet.If you don't have too many miles on it since the install maybe the guy who did the install can re-check the gearsetup. Thats what I'm betting on.

Better lock-up(traction), stronger, and they are supposed to be quieter. No more moaning diff on corners. No clutch packs to wear out either. But when a Trutrac is broke I doubt you could rebuild it
