Ive been leaning toward the vortech system too, just so you know you still have to purchase some other parts to go with the s/c.

well what i am concerned about is not haveing it intercooled i know around town i wont run any more than about 420 hp on a 5 to 7 pound boost pulley. but when i go to the drag strip i want to run 480 with out a problem is this possible with this system and btw i thought it was a full kit and apparently its not but am all i missing is mounts and fuel pumps?

looks like you need the handheld tuner and a tune to make it work!

I have the H.O. version... I love it....runs 10.2 psi boost @ 6300 makes 435 @ wheels on a Mustang Dyno... probably 480 on a DynoJet...

if you want 480 without a cooler.. you'll be running a lot of boost and I'd be concerned with detonation, especially on a warm day...

i have the tuner so it looks like if i were to get this kit i would just need the fuel injectors. ive thought about running meth for coolant but would it really be cheaper than an intercooler in the long run?

yeah... looked again.. injectors and maybe you'll need to upgrade the fuel pump.....if you want to make 400+ hp... otherwise you'll run the risk of running too lean

r u doing the install? if so then I dont think it make that much of a difference money wise... maybe $100-200. If your paying for the install i'll be cheaper to get both done at once.... as for Methanol.... I dont know anything about how that set up works....

ok well i can do MOST of the install ive been around cars since i could walk and im really good with my hands. so i could do most of it but ive been browsing the net and would a universal intercooler for like $100-$300 work? if so then ill just get this super charger and get the fuel pumps and injectors and by a universal intercooler.
