Default C & L Intake and New Tunes Installed

I've just completed installing the C & L Street Intake and used a Predator tuner to install some semi-custom tunes by B a m a chips. Wow! It's a whole new world now. Even with automatic transmission and 3.31's it's running great. To see a review of the parts and the process, complete with G-Tech performance numbers, look here:

I just got a tune and cai package from brenspeed. I havent installed anything yet. Is the tune pretty much plug and play? I read the SCT instructions and they said something about taking out some fuses. Any help on this would be great. Thank you

Hi EJMStang06! Just installed my CAI and tunes from Brenspeed. The mention of removing fuses is specific to pre-2005 models. They should have included another sheet (separate from the SCT instructions) that says for 2005-2007 Mustangs, there is no need to unplug any fuses. Simply plug the tuner in under the dash and follow the rest of the instructions. Extremely easy! Good luck! You're going to love the change, trust me!

Thanks. Owners sharing info with other owners--isn't that what it's all about?

Question to those in the know. I'm gonna get a CAI/tuner come this August(bonus check time!) and reading every one's great regard for Brenspeed, I'm definitely gonna give them my cash. I'm sure Brenspeed will recommend the best CAI for my application, but my question is(for those that have the various CAIs out there) does the inlet size(have seen CAIs come in 88mm, 90mm & 95mm) have a drastic effect on hp? Most seem to prefer the C&L unit, I'm kinda looking at the Demolet one made specifically for Brenspeed. Any comments, experiences? A Paxton S/C may be a future addition FYI, so it may render a CAI moot at some point.
Thanks in advance.

Here's an article on a few different CAIs: http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...ons/index.html

The JLT II had the most HP & TQ from those tested, slightly more than the C&L.
