Default Got my JLT replacement filter.....

I order a filter for my JLT intake from S&B filters. I ordered one with the same dimensions only 1 inch shorter than the one that comes with the JLT CAI, plus I ordered it withblue oil instead of read.

I post some pics tomorrow, but does anyone think 1 inch is going to make enough of a difference in air flow to cause problems? I wanted it slightly shorter so it won't rub on my fender well.

Yeah, i wasn't expecting 1 inch to matter much. The S&B filter is definately the one that comes with the JLT II for anyone that was wondering.

Here's the pic as promised. It looks a lot smaller than the other filter, but it's only 1 inch shorter as far as the filter media goes. All other dimensions are the same.

If anyone would like the part number for this filter it's R1172. That's for the blue power stack filter with a stainless steel endcap. It will be 1 inch shorter in length than the filter that comes with the JLT intake. The exact same filter that comes with the JLT II intake (except it will have a SS endcap)is part numberR0862 and cost $39 on their site. If you want a blue one of the same size as the JLT it's part R1177.

They also sell a cleaning and oiling kit for $15.
