Bottom right has gear ratio/tire size excel files. It will show you exactly what kind of difference you will see.

First off dont give your business to someone that basically doesn't want to do the work! I mean if he is trying to sway you from installing the mods you mentioned than that is bad business sense for him and he is lazy. I say go for the 4:10's and you will not lose that much MPG or top end. Maybe on previous models but not the newer mustangs. The shorty headers that come from the factory are great and breathe well. They look like crap after a short while but Ford did their homework on the exhaust of these cars from the factory f-ront to back. Now I am not saying that you won't get gains from LT headers but the stock ones do very well as far as breatheability. Find another installer that is just as excited about the mustangs as you are and he will gladly give you a fair quote and advise on what runs best with our cars. I think the guy you are talking with now just doesn't want to deal with the installs. They are harder than other mods and require exacting tolerances to seal and run well. Not impossible but more involved. JMO J

You will get more. The popular suggestion here is if you have a automatic go to 3:73s'. Though there is a guy here where I live that races his GT with 4:30s' in his automatic but it is strictly for racing.

Anymod you can add to the GT is well worth the money. As far as the driveshaft,I picked up over 2 tenths in the 1/, and to me that was well worth it.

Well I just got back from putting a deposit on my gears. they are going to order them today and they should be able to install them next Thursday on my day off. **** it I went with the 4;10s'. We'll see!!! how it works out. They quoted me a price of 800 dollars which was 300 dollars cheaper than the Mopar slap nuts ****er at the other shop.
