Mac boom tubes are in!!!

FedEx delivered my Boom Tubes today. Luckily had a quiet day at work so I drove home immediately to get the car so I can install them on a lift. Happy I did because the install took mabe 20 minutes, it was the adjusting to get everything to fit perfect that took roughtly 30 minutes. I needed to loosen the overaxle tubes to get the tip in the opening centered, the fit was good to begin with but I'm kind of **** you can say. The finish is so-so, I'll take my polisher to them later, they do look 1000% better than the stock. The guys at work thought they looked great.

How do they sound? Great, I fired it up in the shop and our service advisor and receptionest came rushing out to see what the sound was. It's got a nice low tone now, just what I wanted. Took it for a drive for a quick inpression and all I can say is it's exactly what I wanted, mean as hell at wot and nice tone while just cruising and not too loud at idle. I'll find out how they sound when cold tomorrow at 5:30am and let you know.

Now for the $1,000,000 question, drone. They do have drone but it's not so bad I can't live with it on a day by day basis. My truck with my custom 3" super 40 system has more drone.

I would recommend this set-up to anyone who wants a deep loud tone at a very reasonable price.

I will post some pics and sound clips as soon as I can, I meant to do this at work but I didn't have my camera with me.

GIGGITY GIGGITY. congratulations! get some sound clips up..............of the car driving away at WOT and gentle take offs, and also, some interior clips............BOOM TUBES FTW!

Fired up the car this am at 5:30 and I know I woke a few neighbors up, it's damn loud when it's cold. I love it. I try to get the vid up today if I got a chance.
