Comes stock with 31-spline axles....your gonna have to try pretty damn hard to break your axles...haven't hear of anyone on here doing that yet....of course haven't heard about anyone breaking a DS in a S197 yet either!!!

You will be fine, slicks won't hurt it one bit, I run them all the time and launch at 6,000 rpms every time
Unless you are putting 800 rwhp down I wouln't worry, like said above....I would worry about the drive shaft before the axles. I have two friends putting 480 rwhp down with blowers and they run slicks as well and not a single problem, other than the blowers thier stock[sm=gears.gif]

my friend with runs slicks on his 06 GT manual... and he has an intake and catback on there... he is FINE... gets some pretty descent runs in on slicks. i say your good...!
