Was wondering if anyone has had any issues with their 05-07 Automatic Tranny leaking? I took it out today and made a few hard runs(just putting it in drive and taking overdrive off) trying a tune I had loaded and when I got back and pulled it into garage I noticed a little puddle. I got down looked under it and seen fluid on pan. When I bought car it had the aftermarket pan with dipstick that holds an additional 4 qts. All the lines were dry. I wiped everything off, removed cover to look up near convertor and it was dry also. Do these trannys have a overflow that will puke out if its overfull? Im beginning to wonder if it was too full. I strted it up with cover off and ran it thru gears after I wiped everything off and got no leaks. Behind the cover was dry also. I checked fluid with dipstick and it was reading a little over the hot mark. Like I said I just recently bought it. Anyone have any issues with their autos leaking fluid?

Yep--same problem. My '07 leaked fluid after I ran it hard. Took it in for warranty repairs and the tech found a kinked vent line. Apparently wasn't a problem until it shifted hard; apparently the extra pressure from the custom tune caused it to leak even more. The tech said that it was not uncommon. Replaced the vent line and routed it better so it wouldn't kink and no more problem.
