Having owned an 03 Cobra vert.There is no question that it's faster and stops quicker than 2005+ GT's.

I currently drive an 06 GT vert. and it's a much more refined, more comfortable and better looking Mustang (my opinion). I get just as many if not more compliments on it than the Cobra.

The only thing I miss about the Cobra is the brute acceleration and supercharger whine.
Things I don't miss are:
Weak halfshafts
Wheel hop
Poor fit and finish
Average 16 miles per gallon
High insurance costs.

well, I had the chance to get an 03 Cobra or an 05/06 GT and chose the 05 GT obviously, it's a much much nicer and solid car than the 99-04s.
