My Brenspeed tune recently "faded"...I did the gas pedal trick which starts the memory anew and the tune is back!
whats the "gas pedal trick"?
I saw it on here...car off, put key to "on" position...for the span of 5 seconds, slowly press the gas pedal down to the floor...thenrelease the pedal over the span of 5 seconds till your foot is completely off the pedal. Wait 5 seconds, then start the car. Takes 15 seconds, literally!

I had my battery disconnected when installing my shift light, and when everything was hooked up and I took it for a test run, I could swear it felt as though it had more power. Not just until it warmed up either, even after driving it for 20-30 mins. I really didn't think much about it at the time, but after reading this post, it makes me think it did. Iwill begoing to the track this weekend, I will make a few passes as is and then disconnect the battery for a while and make a few more and see if my #'schange any. I will let you know the outcome.
I found this out a year ago at the track, my car was real sluggish the first two runs and the mph trap speeds were down almost a full 1mph. Instead of reloading the tuneI disconnected the battery for my 30 min cool down between runs and the car was a beast again trap speeds went back up to normal and lowered my et's. I figured my car was sluggish becauseI drive slow around town and don't really get on it that much unless there are no cops or traffic around. The adaptive learning that is talked about so much is probably what was affecting my car. Ever since then, I disconnect my battery on track days beforeI leave my house and my car has been real consistent with mph trap speeds.

Yeah, I did the gas pedal thing after a battery disconnect too, just felt like trying them out after putting my slp lm's on. I noticed a huuuuge difference in the way it drove, just way better. I feel like that faded real quick though, maybe 20-30mins later it was back to before. I don't have any tune or anything yet.
