Default Rumble in exhause sounds softer now?

I've been driving my 2007 GT California Special for a little over a month now. It seems that lately the rumble in the exhaust at idle or low RPMs is softer than it originally was. Is this just my imagination or can the rumble or throaty exhaust decrease over time? Or is something wrong with it? Any thoughts?

I think it's in your head. I thought my SLPs were loud, now they sound stock to me, which I know haven't got quieter. You just get used to your mods, same thing happens with HP mods, after a bit, it's like meh, I NEEEEED MORE!!! MORE NOISE, MORE POOWWWWAA. Atleast that's me strung out

As the mufflers break in they will sound different. They actually can get quieter.
