Default muffler removal and effects

Hello everyone... I was wondering if anyone has taken the stock mufflers off of their car and listened to it run? and if so... has anyone left it like that and what would be long term affects?

Thanks
Ray

here's an ok example of just stock with no mufflers. I kept it like that for probably 3 weeks, really loud, but I loved it. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2019761055
