What is the Spark Plug torque?

RE: What is the Spark Plug torque?
Thanks Ricky.
No, I'm installing a S/C on Sunday and need to put in colder plugs.
Does changing the spark plugs make the car faster or add any torque/hp at all?

Also torque the COP to 44 INCH lbs.
There seems to be a problem with the plugs seizing down in the head from carbon buildup, etc. So, when you go to remove the plugs the sleeve breaks free from the threads and insulator, and now you have a problem on your hands. I believe there is a TSB that recommends anti-seize on the sleeve just below the threads but it does not mention (recommend) anti-seize on the threads themselves. Personally, I have removed the plugs on my car withoutan issue, but now that I said that, I will probably have all kinds of hell checking/cleaning my plugs this weekend.

RE: What is the Spark Plug torque?
I just swapped mine last weekend with a s/c install. The stock plugs came out without any issues but I did get some anti-sieze (the little red packets you see at the AutoZone check outs) and used a dab on each new injector. It can't hurt. Steel and aluminum isn't the best combination for threaded parts. That one little packet was enough for all eight plugs and then some.
