Default Bad performance off the start

Could be my driving, but my car runs the ****s until it hits the 3000-3500 rpm mark out of first gear. At a light if I nail the gas it lugs for about 30-40 feet then kicks in like a rocket.

Is this normal and I shouldhave the revs up before I let the clutch out?

or do I need to get it on the dyno and have it properly tuned?

What tune are you currently running? That might be your problem. Might be optimized for best HP on the top-end but sacrifices some of the low-end. You might want to ask your tuner.

Not TCS, I turn it off when roads are dry. I wish I could set it off as default.

I will try again tomorrow. I have reloaded in the past but not sure if I have for this issue. Thanks.

I have been meaning to get back to him and get the car on the dyno...

I am running a Boxed tune for 91 Octane, C&L CAI, Magna Flow Cat back and Delete plates.

I think I will call hm tomorrow after a reload of tune and see where it goes from there.

I really wanted to know if it was normal or not. What I am getting is it is not normal and I should have it corrected.

Thanks again.

If that is a "canned" tune then the gains arent going to be near as good as with B ama or Brenspeed tunes. And of course the dyno tune will be the best for the car.

I agree with 4.10's, but what I am experiencing is not gears, it is definity tune.

I have debated the gears with myself as I really like top end speed.
