Here's a picture of my *** running 285's I think they are plenty wide enough. In fact I am always getting comments about it. The comment is usually Holy crap that a fat *** tire on the back.

You don't want to put 295 in the back, or it will stick out. 285 fits flush with the fender

Incorrect you will need the correct backspacing. You could fit 305 w/o sticking out

Thanks for the compliments guys. I think the 285's are the perfect size. Not overkill. I have seen a few cars running the larger sizes and to me it just doesn't lok right. That could have had something to do with the wheels they run though.
And yes you should be able to fit these tires on any 18x10 or 20x10 wheel as long as that size is available.

i'm runnin 295/30 on 20 in rims. they're basically flush with the fender and don't rub at all on the inside. i'm not lowered at all, so i dunno if that would affect it but they fit fine
