CMRC Delete Kit tool question

I know there have been a lot of posts about CMRC Deletes but I could find anything about the release tool that is used in this article for disconnecting the fuel line. Are they easy to locate or can something else be used inisplace. Alsois there anything else that might try to throw me a fit during install, because I hate when I hit snags. I mean the install seems pretty straight forward, but it may just seem that way until I try to dig into it.

Autozone has then. They are in a package of 4 and you will find them with all the other sockets. It might be called a/c line release or something.

You don't need that tool to install the CMCV delete plates.

Again I repeat you do not need that tool to install the CMCV delete plates.

I personally have installed them and would know, as well as anyone else who has done the install. All you are going to need to do the install is a few sockets and extensions.

You don't even need to disconnect the fuel line. Just flop the fuel rails over to the driver's side out of the way. Easy-peasy.

Agreed. Just pull the injectors out and flip the complete harness over the plenum to the drivers side. Lay it upside down on the drivers side out of the way. Now you can pull the plenum off. 1 hour job....

Great it actually sounds much easier than I would have thought. Ill probably place an order with Brenspeed sometime this month for them.

+1 I tried disconnecting it for 4-5 minutes until I gave up and just pulled it over the drivers fender and kept working.
