Also Trailblazers SS have the same engine, damn Chevys[:@] why don't we have our 2nd best engine on our cars also ? That would be the 5.4 NA instead of the 5.4 Supercharged as those guys have the 6.0 instead of the 7.0 mehhhhh

How fast is a Chevy SSR?

I slowly passed by one (me in right lane, him in left lane) at about 40mph. He revved at me as I went by, but he stayed back.

Depends on the year. First year or two were 'dogs' for what they were touted as being. High performance high cost trucks. Kind of like the Chrysler Prowler. Over priced dog.

I had a go with one about 3 weeks ago. We had already rolled off the light before we got after it and I pulled away early. I shut it down when I got to 80 mph and he was still not catching up.

I took a ride in one... it has power but is a PIG...they are too heavy to really be quick....something like over 5000lbs... was not impressive....you should be able to smoke one from a stop or rolling at any speed..

Yeah, you would probably kill him.

I talked to a guy at the car show yesterday that had his there. I was shocked to hear those things weigh in at 4700 pounds.

Thats more than a half a ton more than our cars.

They sure are pretty though.
