Fallen to the dark side UPDATE W/PICS
Went to the dealer after some hard thinking today, to look at a fully loaded (red leather, shaker 1000) 05 GT and they wanted my 06 V6+7k for it (sticker price on it was like 25,650).... but then they said they had a 2007 california special mustang GT, brand new with 3 miles on it down at another dealer for close to the same price. I got the x plan with that and a couple rebates and it came down to 25,854$and they gave me 19,000 for my car. So today gentlemen I upgraded for 6,854$ from an 06 V6 with 12k miles to an 07 cali special GT with 3 miles on it!
I definitely am looking forward to this section and I am so excited for my GT! I pick it up thursday the 25th. For sure its going to be insanely hard for me to wait 2 days!!! argh!
Well I am pretty fluent with the modding order and such that I should do, but my question is as a new comer, what are some insanely nice exhaust setups for these 3V's?
Can't wait for the dark side. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Congrats man. I bet you'll hardly sleep until you take it home.
When you say "insanely nice exhaust setups", Corsa comes to mind first. Not that i'm biased or anything, but it truely does sound the best of all the ones i've heard with my own ears. At first, they are a bit louder and deeper than stock but after 500 miles, they open up and get quite a bit deeper and louder at idle and WOT. There's absolutely no drone when cruising. Push some air through them and they get LOUD.

Oh yeah, I hope you are prepared to make that almighty decisionof which exhaust to go with as well. Just look around at clips, and pick, don't let yourself fall into the weeks, months, or more of indecision that some people go into haha. I'm sure whatever you pick, you will be happy with.

RE: Fallen to the dark side
They gave you $19K for a V-6 with 12K on her? That's an awfully generous dealership, when I traded my '05 GT with 19K on it for a '06 GT I had to haggle to get the $20K (I owed $19K at the time), I wouldn't have traded it in if I was gonna end up being upside down.
By the way, welcome to the V-8 side of things, and watch your credit card limit shrink every month[:@], it'll be like paying a psychiatrist, but better therapy

congrats man I made the switch a few weeks ago as well but I didn't go into that indecision for exhausts, I chose Pypes and I really like them. I didn't want to spend too much money, but I will add that I have heard the Corsa's in person and they sound sick but were a little too rich for my pockets. Anyway, good luck to you.
