If I wasn't a wussie I would get that catless Pypes H-pipe and enjoy 8 more horsepower for a mere 300 dollars after install but **** I'm worried to about emissions and cops a course.

Did you notice a loss of horsepower at all?
First day after install I noticed a marked decrease of off idle torque. Once the car adjusted after a few days the power came back, and now the motor seems to have longer legs. Cant speak for everyone though.

I appreciate everyone's input! With the groupbuy at Brenspeed being such a great deal, I think will just pull the trigger & buy the SLPs, I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Just do a check first and make sure no cops are aroundyour fieldof vision and you will be fine. JMO

That's the problem, I don't have any self control, so when I do put the SLPs on I'll just have to go WOT all the time!

So I am thinking about getting in on the SLP Loudmouth groupbuy, but I can't shake the feeling that they might be too loud. Is anybody running the SLPs on a stock setup? Do you like it? I want it to be loud but I also don't need the cops on my a$$ all the time. I live in a smaller town, sometimes the cops get bored.
Just don't get the cats with the x-pipe that SLP sells, or it'll be like this.

I wouldn't worry about the cops too much if thats all your running. I have long tubes, offroad h-pipe, and flo-pro mufflers, cop pulled me over the other day for sliding sideways a little (didn't see him of course) and all he asked me was what size motor I had in the car, lol. Maybe it depends on the cop I guess, but I have had my setup for over a month now and no problems with the cops yet. Wish I had some decent vidoes of my car, but its loud! You can easily hear it from a mile away, lol.

I think if Harley Davidson's are allowed to be UNGODLY loud, our cars should be allowed to be also.

I pulled the trigger and ordered the SLPs on Friday thru the groupbuy at Brenspeed, should get them soon. Can't wait to be able to turn off the radio and listen to nothing but the sweet sound of a deep, throaty, american muscle exhaust. All hail the MUSTANG!
