That's the problem, I don't have any self control, so when I do put the SLPs on I'll just have to go WOT all the time!

I got them from an ebay store, I don't want to step on any sponsers toes. Under $250 shipped. I've never heard the slp in person but I love boom tubes. Nice and deep tone, not raspy and drone is minimal. I think the resonators help to get rid of the raspiness. It almost has a chambered muffler sound to it. I'm sure my neighbors love me at 5:30 am.

That's a very attractive price. How was the install on the boom tubes? Any problems?

Install is a piece of cake, but I also have access to a lift. You don't really need it, but I'm kind of picky and needed to have the tips perfect, had to loosen the overaxle pipes to adjust. Took no longer than 30 minutes.

I'm running SLP LMs and Kooks LTs, and haven't gotten pulled over yet....granted, it's only been a couple of weeks. Houston cops are pretty liberal about noise, though. I drove my F150 5.4L around for over 3 years w/o a muffler and never got pulled over once.

jdroth50, do you have any sound clips? im in the same boat as nebraska... I really want the loud mouths and I want to put longtube headers and an x pipe also... will it be too loud? I want loud though...
