Just wondering how loud they were. I was going to get SLPs but they dont come in a catback system. I noticed that stock mid pipes are not mandrel bent and crushed piping. NOt cool at all. So im gonna get a clean set up with the catbacks. I also have Magnaflow Catbacks for sale. 380

If you want loud, and a catback system, you could go with MAC. All of the guys that I have seen in person (with the MAC catback) sound loud and really good. The magnaflow is alright. It isnt the loudest but has a really clean muscle car tone. I like it but I do want louder. I am probably going to just finish off the exhaust with longtube headers and an x pipe to make the exhaust louder.... 380... ??? thats pretty low! sounds like a good deal for magnaflow catback system!

I have them and love them. Wife hates them so that right there should give you an indication how good they are

really depends on the sound your going for... magnaflows and the magnapaks imo clean up the tone and make it a real nice muscle car sound. it does sound a little weak compared to other catback systems out there... i like it though! (louder is better imo)

I heard the magnapaks are much louder then regualar magnaflows. I heard that magnapaks are the loudest catbacks besides no muffler slps

I don't know about the regular magnaflow mufflers but the magnapacks sound like NASCAR but a little quieter and have little to no drone at 1800 RPMs (for my setup) and I do not have resonators. Now that being said the magnapacks are a stright thru design with little packing around the magnapack itself. They actually look like resonators but longer just for comparison. They are SS and shine up very easily. I have the stock headers and cats and h-pipe in place then the magnapacks. If you want pics just PM me and I will do it this coming up Sunday. I am working the next three days or 48 hrs so I will be busy or on here writing on MF site. Oh I have the Cervinis side exhaust as well so that can change the sound (or our perception of it) as well because it exits near your ear and not out the back! JMO J

I have the 3" Magnapak system and I love it. I hated it at first because it was too quiet. It took about 3 weeks for it's sound to really come out and get louder.

I have the catback 'magnaflows' and they are quieter at idle but really come to life
when you stand on it. A deeper, throatier sound . Appearence wise they are hard
to beat. Other one I would consider would be 'Borla' but they are alot more $$.
