nice.....too bad the trip O tells the REAL story lol

here's the kind of mileage you get when driving downhill!!!
Remember to include a few stop and go's in your calculations! Otherwise your MPG estimate will be as fake as this one!

Also, reset your computer from a stop, not while you are already going 65.

Even if you set it from a dead stop, if you drive on the highway, your mpg will increase. I average 24-26 doing 70-75. In the city, I get 17.

descent milage! I got 16.3 MPG this week
14.4 [>:] That's the problem with having a 6 mile commute each way in 100% bumper to bumper stop and go city driving. I get all happy inside when I return a tank that touches 20 because I've done a few miles on the freeway!

LOL, TPony, if I remember right, you're from VA around the DC area, right? Cause I'm with you 100% there ... apparently they don't have traffic quite like ours ...

i get about 11.4MPG and i have 2000 miles on the car

i tryed for a full tank to drive as careful as possible im talking about shifting at 2k- 2.5kMAX and cruising as much as possible, and i got 13.7 so i say **** it FLOOR that bitch. its not worth it for me to try and concentrate on driving slow. id rather pay the extra 40 bux a month and OPEN the throttle whenever i want. plus thats what i bought the car for right?

I drive 50 miles to work and the stang gets over 30mpg if I can keep it at 55mph (that is painful). All in all I average 26-27 all the time, but I am all highway driving. 13k on her already. Best damn miles ever driven!

Taking mpg during rush hour is not a true reading especially around the Baltimore-D.C-N. VA area. Watch your mpg while sitting still and idling. You can watch it drop a tenth every few seconds.
