If you got your lovers on the preorder, and the paint on the preorder like I did, you probably paid $139 for the louvers and $129 for the paint. Or at least that was what mine cost. But I was REAL EARLY on the preorder for the part, and one of the first to go on the preorder for paint. I think both prices went up about $20 or so since the release. Could be wrong on the release price, but $20 increase sounds about right.

eyah it was somewhere around there...I know I wasn't on any kinda pre-order, I ordered them when I saw the first few pics of them (at least i think, unless thye were just old threads)...I think i remember your thread about them, and I think one more.. .I saw that they offered paint, and thought, "How Easy is that! Deliverd right to my door, ready to go." Instead of getting them and shopping around for a place to paint them.. .I do have to say though that out of the pre-painted peices I've gotten, those were the worst... Possibly could have been an issue during shipping, but on both louvers approximately in the same spot, the paint is really thin, so thin, that you can almost see the clear lexan underneath... It doesn't really bother me too much, cause it's fairly small, and just kinda looks dull in that area...but a perfectionist, would be flippin out.

I dunno how it could have happened durnig shipping..cause they did a great job packaging them... lotta bubble wrap.... so who knows.. almost seems like the paint got rubbed off real gradually during shipping...

I like the side scoops where did you get them? and did they come painted or did you have to get them painted? and if you dont mind me asking how much?

152.00 + 170.00 for the paint...took like 2 weeks or so for them to get to my door...maybe a little longer..Kinda like just when ya start wondering where they are they show up... but I ordered the mirror covers at the same time so maybe they waited to ship both parts togther, although they showed up the same day, they were in seperate boxes...

Paint was exact match and done real well. Install was like a 1/2 hour which included cleaning and putting on the 3M tape, and lining them up... Little nerve racking cause that tape sticks like a **** so ya just put it on with a feather touch to make sure ya have it in the right spot...really ya just have to line it up with the door jam (with the door open) and get the top and bottom placement....take a step back to make sure it's proper, and then press it on firm...
