I just got my T-handle shift **** from hurst and it wont fit my stock shifter.. WHY ?

Just to make sure .. 2 parts only came in.. the shifter it self and the adjusting nut.. and neither seem to fit the stock threads... Can some one explain to me please why ? I mean they should've put instructions for dummies cuz this thing is harder than installing a CAI...

I bought a Hurst T-handle shift **** from Autozone for my Hurst shifter and it came with 6 different inserts to fit different shifters.

Maaan what a ripoff... I didnt get any insert the peice turned out to be that lock thingy.... can u post pics of the inserts ? Ill be going tomorrow make some custom inserts and I nead an Idea of what they look like..

I have the original hurst T-Handle but the thread adapters in this link look the same as the ones that
came with my handle.

although why didnt u get the one with the hurst logo ? got a pic of the interior if u dont mind ? cuz am really curious on how it will look.. and im also getting a hurst shifter in june (inshallah ).

that link was just so you could see the thread adapters, I have the Hurst T-Handle with the Hurst Logo in my car, here is the only picture I have at the moment.
