Default Went to buy a GT Bad Experience

Well i've loved the 2005 Mustang GT since it came out and decided to take the plunge.Anyways the 2007GT on the lot was fully loaded 32kplus and decided togowith a 2006 GT left over. The offered me WhiteGT auto, Red Leather, Shaker 1000, and IUP pkg, $24,500 to good to be true rite, car had 15 miles on it.The deal was a go.They threwthe key and say take it for a drive. I drove thekinda hard for about3-5 min when i pulled into the Dealership the whole engine started Smoking. We poped the hood and there was a white slimy residue all over the engine bay. I took my check back and left. They were trying to tell me they'll pull the car into the service bay and pick it up later dis evening. Just wanted to share i'm not bashing the car by any means. The Car Dealership is located in New Jersey if anyone interested to knw.

That's why ford built thousands of dealerships, for you to tell us where the scumbags are...but you didn't tell us what the scumbag's name was.....[&:]

Yup dealerships suck and cars can have problems regardless of the make or model. Soory your first with a stang was well not to your liking (or anyones for that matter). Welcome to the forum!

FYI...I bought an 06 GT last Sept on the 0%...anyhow, got the car home and noticed the "white slimy residue". Turns out itwas coolant. I checked the upper radiator hose at the radiator and found the factory clamp was broken [:@]. Replaced clamp...good as new...no problems.

There is a "Power" Ford where we live, they brought in no fewer than 4 different managers trying to talk us into buying a car we didn't want...
We ended driving 100 miles away to Galpin Ford, had a great experience and price!!
It's a shame thet are so far away, but they earned our business...
