Default question on power gains with these mods

I am ordering stage 3 Comp Cams and charge motion delete plates in about 5 or 6 days here. I already have JBA shorty headers, a magnaflow catback, 3.73 gears, steeda intake, and the Xcal 2 by SCT with a 93 Oct tune on the car. I am going to have the cams and the delete plates installed and then I plan on having the car dyno tuned. I will post some numbers if I get the gains I am looking for out of the cams.

Can anyone give me some suggestions as to where I will be horsepower wise to the wheels with these mods and after the tune? The car is automatic also. I am shooting for above 320 to the wheels...

All cars are different but I would think you will easily get past 320. you should be at atleast 290+ with a good tune from Brenspeed or B ama and the headers.

yeah, you definately want to take a look at the link above. I was thinking of getting that same cam until i saw that. And about those delete plates, I believe steeda now makes Economy plates that do the same thing... just alot cheaper. Delete plates= about 300 Economy plates=140

waltc, i am definetly going with the economy plates because i was reading more and more and seem to lead to the same conclusion that either of the two do the same thing

2007 GT/SC, ive posted in the forum i believe. i am going to try my "luck" with the cams and see how it goes. the reason being is that i am not planning on supercharging the car ANY time soon. i still need to save up a little and even then i may just stick to bolt ons for a while. if i can get over 320 rwhp then i am pretty satisfied. i know many guys wouldnt call that anything to get all happy over, but i will work with the tunes and see what i can get. the bottom line is i am definetly adding hp, just depends on how much i am adding...

ill post some numbers up once i have all of this work done. i am going to be ordering the parts next week and the installation and tune will come around the week of may 20 if not earlier or right after... wish me luck.

Brenspeed told me that delete plates weren't worth the money unless you did nothing but race.

yea, they told me the same thing, which is why i am debating the delete plates in the last minute... hahaha, for 150 bux though, an average of 5 rwhp gains, is that worth it? i mean i do take the car up to the track A LOT... and i do seem to floor the car a lot on the street...

good idea or bad idea? what do you think Daniel?
