Default trying to purty up the engine bay (w/ pics)

i've decided to start doing some little things to purty up the engine bay. i went and got the spectre ss braid hose sleeve kit from pep boys (don't hate) and a can of "gunk - engine brite". in retrospect, i probably should have just clened the engine by hand because it left this film all over the driveway. but it did clean up the engine so whatever. i really like the hose sleeves. short of throwing down the change to get real high pressure fitting and hoses, this is the way to go. and its cheap. i know not everyone will like them, but i just thought i'd share.

and here's one of my new ford hood letter, just cause theyre pimp

Arent you hurting the the air filter by wetting it? or did you cover it up somehow? But the engine does look pretty clean!

Get those Valve Cover powder coated, then you'll be looking good.

Here's a tip for cleaning the engine bay using GUNK. Go to a outsidepublic car wash and clean it there. It keeps your driveway nice and clean.

Nice, and the FORD letters is definitely a retro look.
